Father’s Day Activities
Sunday 17th June is the day when we celebrate the special men in our children’s lives. If you want ideas for the greatest gift your dad could ask for keep on reading! You’re bound to stay in his good books for many years to come.
Say thank you with a gift that money can’t buy and make an adorable card of the family. Pen a cute poem, choose a picture he loves and get to work with some PVA glue and sticky tape! Arts and crafts are a great way to keep your little ones busy and inspired.
Is your Dad a big DIY fan? Then grab your empty fruit pots and create something with the kids that he’ll cherish. Huge music fan? Try making a few music shakers and form a band with the kids to let him live out his dream of being the rock-star he already is. Or, if Grandad is a fan of the great outdoors, why not make him a bird feeder or cute little plant pots for seedlings?
Should the sun decide to make an appearance on the big day, mark the occasion with an outdoor celebration and all his favourite foods. Fire up the BBQ and pop a few delicious burgers on to add to your delicious spread!. Or plan the tastiest picnic he’s ever set his eyes on. After all, they do say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!
